Terms of Use & Sale

Purchases

Products offered through Scent & Form are subject to availability. All purchases at launch are one-time purchases. We do not currently offer subscriptions, recurring billing, backorders, preorders, gift cards, or store credit.

There is no minimum purchase requirement.

By placing an order, you represent that you have the legal capacity to make the purchase or are making the purchase with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Prices & Taxes

Product prices are displayed before applicable sales tax. Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected at checkout based on the order and delivery destination.

If an order cannot be fulfilled because of an obvious pricing, inventory, or technical error, Scent & Form may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

Payment

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe. Scent & Form does not store customers' full payment-card information.

We may hold, decline, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary for payment verification or fraud prevention. If payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.

If you believe there is a problem with a charge or order, we encourage you to contact us first at orders@scentandform.com so we have an opportunity to resolve it. Nothing in these Terms limits dispute rights available through your bank or payment provider.

Orders

Scent & Form reserves the right to decline or cancel an order, including because of inventory limitations, unusually large quantities, suspected resale or fraud, pricing or technical errors, or other legitimate business or fulfillment reasons.

If payment has already been collected for an order we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.

If you need to change an order after placing it, contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate changes before the order ships, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed.

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before they have shipped. Once an order has shipped, our Returns & Refunds Policy applies.

Shipping

Scent & Form currently accepts orders for delivery within the contiguous United States only. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations.

Shipping availability may vary by destination. Available shipping options will be shown at checkout. Scent & Form reserves the right to limit shipping to certain destinations when necessary for legitimate business or fulfillment reasons.

We do not currently promise a specific processing or delivery timeframe. Any delivery estimate provided during checkout or shipment is an estimate rather than a guarantee.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. We will help when reasonably possible if an address problem occurs, but Scent & Form does not guarantee a free replacement or refund when an order cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.

If a package is confirmed lost in transit, Scent & Form will work with the customer to provide a replacement or refund. Any claim with the shipping carrier is our responsibility.

If tracking shows an order as delivered but you have not received it, contact us. We will review the tracking information and circumstances and work toward an appropriate resolution.

Returns, Refunds & Order Problems

Purchases are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. This also applies to purchases made as gifts.

Products & Appearance

We make reasonable efforts to display our products accurately. Minor variations in color, packaging, or appearance may occur and may also result from differences between screens and displays.

This does not affect our policy regarding products that arrive damaged, defective, or otherwise not as intended.

Promotions

Discounts, promotional codes, and special offers may be subject to their own terms, including eligibility, expiration dates, eligible products, quantity limits, and whether an offer may be combined with another promotion.

Personal Use & Resale

Products purchased through the Scent & Form retail website are intended for personal use and may not be purchased for commercial resale without our permission.

Scent & Form may separately authorize wholesale or reseller relationships.

Intellectual Property

Scent & Form's website content, branding, graphics, photographs, product names, and original written material are owned by or licensed to Scent & Form and may not be reproduced or used commercially without permission, except as permitted by law.

Limitation of Responsibility

Scent & Form is not responsible for losses that are indirect or unrelated to the value of your purchase, except where responsibility cannot be limited by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this website with its effective date.

Changes apply going forward and do not alter the terms that applied to purchases already completed.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any policies referenced in them, contain the terms that apply to your use of the Scent & Form website and your purchases from us.
